Darwin and his brother Jaime are from El Salvador. They live and work in South Carolina because they could only earn $8 a day in El Salvador, but most of their family is still there.
This is a concrete pumper which is used to put concrete where it can't be poured.
Based on the dashboard, I think the concrete guy lives in his truck!
Jaime is adding hurricane straps to connect the house to the concrete walls. I hope we don't ever need them!
Next they remove the forms and pour the concrete slab, after the plumbing is in place. We're still waiting for Duke to provide temporary power!!
