The final cribbing is in place and we're just waiting for the concrete people to come and build the basement walls tomorrow.
The house looks much better sitting back off the road. Now we have lots of clean-up to do!
We made a start by carrying 4 wagon loads of duct work and wood scraps to the recycle bins. Luckily the county bins are less than a mile down the road.
We're still spending most of our days at the farm, but the only way in and out of the house is by ladder!
Tom installed the box for temporary power, but now we have to wait for Duke to hook it up.
We've had beautiful spring weather but we're hoping the rain will hold off until we get the concrete poured.
Our burning pile is getting bigger by the day!
I hope that tomorrow I'll be able to post some photos of concrete being poured!
so yu gain a second floor/basement tina ?! good luck with the "no rain please" !!
